the @base gas target just grew from 6.25 → 7.5 Mgas/s

↑ higher capacity (+20%) = more cool use cases
↓ lower fees = more access for everyone, everywhere

will monitor here for at least a few weeks, then continue our journey to 1 Ggas/s — stay based!

we've increased the @base gas target to 6.25 Mgas/s

↑ overall capacity +25% 
↓ fees down significantly

we did this after significant load testing and optimization by the team — will be doing another increase to 7.5 Mgas/s later this week

working our way to 1 Ggas/s!

this increase was the second planned increase for this week, following our increase from 5 to 6.25 Mgas/s on tuesday

our strategy is to iteratively load test, make improvements, increase target, monitor, then repeat. onwards and upwards!
