this is a great example of how @base is gradually becoming the center of the onchain economy

people want a safe, trusted place to store their assets, but they also want to be able to transact everywhere. base enables that.

Having a homeBASE is indeed important for any project

connection between base and coinbase limits some uses for people in restricted jurisdictions.

That's the one gripe. Some people just cant get a coinbase id or use coinbase wallet, which does grant a few tings.

saying this as a base poweruser hah

One thing to really make it the centre is to be able to directly bridge from Polygon to Base without having to go first through Ethereum
