people assume this week was some coordinated marketing campaign

the truth is the effort to coin things from @base went 0 to 1 in <1 day with @drewcoffman doing the creative and the only goal being use onchain tools

everything else has just happened. coins are viral I guess.

the @zora team didn't know we were coining anything until after it happened

@js_horne had nudged me before paternity leave to do it and I told him I'd figure it out but it took a while

glad I did it!

to be clear, we thought long and hard about whether coins were the future! and knew they were! and I spent a month talking about it and coining myself. 

but the campaign itself was quick :)

this is one of the things I love about working with the @base team

we aren't afraid to move fast and try things. some times we make mistakes, but we learn and keep going. and action produces information and delivers results.

i dont know anything. seemed like a bad idea at first
because its not old school crypto 
where you come together 
but then i walk down the street and see people i dont understand 
and think these people prob never been on chain once
so i dont know what they want can cant pretend to know

whatever you were or werent trying to do. 

it worked.
