. @barmstrong likes to say: “it’s never as good as it seems, and it’s never as bad as it seems.” I’m seeing a lot of negativity around the price of ETH, and I think it's mostly a distraction. I’m focused on using @base to solve what i see as the key problems and make onchain "just work": - fast and cheap: transactions on base have been less than a cent for over a year now. we recently released flashblocks on testnet - which brings speeds down to 200 milliseconds. that's fast and cheap. - safe and easy: smart wallets strip away a lot of the complexity that drive away users who are unfamiliar with crypto and live in your browser, no extensions or app installs needed. and we can do gas subsidiy + recovery to make things "just work". - builder<>user flywheel: people who come for a coin, and are curious about what else to do, have no clear next step. we're bringing farcaster + miniapps to @coinbasewallet to make it all come together and get this flywheel scaling. heads down, keep building.
