In 2007, @pmarca laid out a framework that unknowingly described blockchains (see “level 3” platform) The irony is blockchains as “level 3” platforms are the missing ingredient to enable “layer 2” in his framework, because they deliver trust. Frames are the “layer 2” platform that we get as result
