I’m calling out @jessepollak’s incompetence in leading @base.

Shilling $250K market cap tokens with slogans like “bots” and “pimping” isn’t art. It’s desperation.

While DeFi starves for support, Base sits at the intersection of regulatory clarity and real consumer traction. And what has Jesse done for DeFi? Nothing. Zero infrastructure. Zero innovation. Just vibes and low-effort virality.

That’s not leadership. That’s cowardice hiding behind meme culture.

A @coinbase exec pumping micro-cap trash on main is a disgrace. He needs to go.

I’m ambivalent wrt base and Jesse but I don’t think he’s malicious or incompetent. he’s clearly very passionate about base and wants to see it succeed. ambition can lead you to do stupid things but it doesn’t define your character. looks more like a misstep, which happens to humans under pressure. people need to get over it, imo.
