Let’s say the starting price of your token is 1 MOXIE, and you decide to buy 10 tokens at once.

Due to the price curve mechanism, the cost of each token increases slightly with every purchase:

The first token costs 1 MOXIE.
The second token costs 1.01 MOXIE.
The third token costs 1.03 MOXIE.
And so on.
As a result, instead of paying 10 MOXIE for 10 tokens, you end up paying around 10.45+- MOXIE because the price rises with each token.

The more tokens are bought, the faster the price increases.
Early buyers get a better deal, incentivizing them to act sooner.
This system rewards early participation and drives engagement in the Moxie ecosystem.
