The key to surviving a church service with a 15 month old is snacks, lots of snacks.

Very true! For us, this lasted until our youngest received First Holy Communion. Before that, it was snacks and coloring books (we found some that were religious) that got through mass fairly unscathed. It also helps that our church has a glass wall room with speakers piping in the priestโ€™s voice, voices from the lectern, songs from the choir, etc. so we could still watch mass while nursing, etc. Thereโ€™s an adjacent and lockable restroom as well. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

Our main church has lots of amenities available for families which is nice, but we were visiting my grandpaโ€™s church. Coloring books will come into play when she gets a little older
