This is a little biased as I’m one of the channel moderators for /appreciation The appreciation channel is a place where we recognize the good things and people in our lives, our accomplishments, and unique experiences. So many of us continually shift our focus onto the next thing we have to do or get done. In the rush to move on to whatever’s next, we can minimize or even forget our small (or big) wins for the day, or week, or year. In this channel, we encourage the community to journal about things that went well in their lives that day. We’re wired to zoom in on the bad stuff in our lives. The act of putting these blessings into words helps each of us understand that there ARE good things and people in our lives and in the world.
