One of the things I remember most vividly in the memoirs of a stock trader is, livermore's thinking on stock trading: "Pushing up is not for selling, after all, most novices dare not chase the rise; Pushing up is to make the stock look cheap during the decline, and many people prefer to buy at the bottom, so sell it to them at this time." Looking back at the chart of the copycat after each bull market, I immediately understood.
