Feels like channels here will become increasingly hard to follow/manage. 

Do we feel like they’re a good comparison to subreddits? Don’t use reddit much anymore

This is a great point, can always increase the level of friction to access and engage

since they're pay-to-create already, wouldn't be surprised to see the cost to create a channel go up (but also allow multiple parties to pay to unlock/create new channels) as a way to mitigate against channel flooding

I think we’ll see dedicated clients being built for specific channels
