THURSDAY THINK TANK Do you agree with the idea that if you act well, things will be good, and if you act badly, things will be bad? I'm going to try it a little differently today and not share my own thoughts until later so as not to influence the critical thinking of anyone else. 500 degen for the most thought provoking answer posted in teach. If you are caring, sharing and open, you will see it in other people and it will be easier to interact with people that are nice. Sooner or later you start to surround yourself with more and more people that are sharing your values. It has worked out great for me, because people realize that I am "one of the good ones" and want to associate with me. Of course there is the obvious leech once in a while, but it's very easy to spot and you can move on pretty quickly especially if you have a network of nice people. Unless of course you are surrounded by family which you can't seem to leave behind or stuck with a spouse that turns out to be problematic.

Nice quote! I like that. I totally agree with you. My experience has been that the world is like a mirror. If you put out kindness and positivity it is often reflected by others and you receive the same in return. The opposite is also true imo.
