WISDOM WEDNESDAY:

Will AI replace us? Can AI ever possess consciousness similar to humans? What makes us human?

AI is an incredible tool that will undoubtedly replace many functions that human do today however I believe that ultimately what makes us human is our ability to create something out of nothing. AI is reliant on drawing from previously input data and I don't believe it is capable of having the same "imagination" as us humans. I envision a future where humans rotate into more creative pursuits.

I agree, although you could argue that the internet did in a sense replace many functions. Just look at the average downtown shopping area for evidence of that. As you say though, change is inevitable. We adapt or die.

i think it's like saying "will the internet replace us" 

short answer is no

long answer is that change is inevitable, but some things always stay the same
