Today I'm thankful for Docker and serverless deployment options (in this case, Google Cloud Run). 

A service provider has been having issues with reliability, and I was able to package the server into a Docker image and deploy it, orchestrated using Pulumi. It's more reliable, auto-scales and is faster!

I'm putting the final touches on improvements to caching (which reduces response times by at least half), and then it'll be shipping time. 🚢

Context: it's an API that aggregates time-series data across 4 GraphQL endpoints (Graph Protocol) and combines them. For certain endpoints, it also calculates some metrics.
