The Regent Honeyeater Anthochaera phrygia is a critically endangered bird that once had very large flocks. They have dramatically decreased in population, mainly due to habitat destruction and competition from other honeyeaters. It is pretty well-known on account of its bright yellow plumage, with skin around the eyes showing wart-like folds. Primarily, it takes nectar obtained from eucalypts along with other plants. They serve as good pollinators and, occasionally, are present in woodlands, orchards, and sometimes in gardens.π¦ π
