I don’t understand why no one has written a really good tv show based around the service industry

True but waiting was like the exaggerated movie.

Thing is, service industry is interesting enough to carry a nuanced show. But yes, that was def the first kind of movie about it.

Party Down was well done and had the awesome premise of being able to take place in a different location each time. But, that could have made it more expensive to shoot.

Not a comedy and also a movie but put The Menu on the list. Its a thriller about the restaurant biz.
