Representative democracy is the tyranny of the majority. It's just a simulation of having a say over one's own life. The situation in Venezuela clearly demonstrates how flawed this system can be.

Seems like Venezuela is just someone trying to steal an election. Which is a more extreme version of what happened here. Like just because someone does something bad in a system doesn’t mean the system is bad. Means the actor was bad

Venezuela has reached this level because previously it was the tyranny of the majority that won. This centralized power to the point where they no longer need to be the majority, as they monopolize all state powers. A system where one person can do so much harm to an entire society is inevitably a bad system.
