I hope to see crypto gaming thrive on Monad tbh. We don't have a lot of fun crypto games and imo, it still hasn't found good pmf in the space.
Most gaming projects prioritize incentives over gameplay, so once their reward szn is over, "players" leave. Me thinks "if the game was fun, at least, maybe players would have stayed post-airdrop, no?"
Anyways, seeing as Monad recently hired a new gaming guy to the team, the team is probably gearing up to kindle "web3 gaming."

On the other hand, prediction/betting is another thing I'm looking forward to. I think this category is set to onboard even non-crypto users.
Let's face it, even the most degen traders can't spend every single day watching charts & trading, not to talk of new crypto users. But you can bet on daily activities (sports, social engagement, politics, events, etc) even if you're not a crypto native user.
I think Kizzy can onboard social media fans, RBS can onboard sport enthusiasts, Opinion Labs can onboard people with various interests 1 reply
