there are so many ways to slice the permutations, but I think mostly it is a shot across the bow against China.  we shall see this week how it progresses.

Companies balance sheets haven’t changed so the selling is based on consumer confidence and some consumers preferring cash in anticipation of future turmoil … so my reference to blackrock and the likes is they have cash to buy and hold while some consumers are just panic selling … the key here is that long term some companies will be more affected than others by the tariffs and those might be in for a prolonged bear situation
