the answer to your question is if the price starts going up, then the motivation will be maintained : )

These conditions significantly diminish individuals' motivation. 

Decisions must be designed in a way that ensures benefits for both the system (DEGEN) and the community.

i've seen Jacek multiple times mention: bans are seasonal, not permanent. all bans will reset with the start of season 13, in this case.
