web3 won’t take off till the third world rallies behind web3 main reason: online incomes are much smaller than IRL western incomes I won’t work for moxie because ~$10 a day isn’t worth it* but someone in the developing world will work for it *this goes for pretty much all bounties am I wrong? convince me that I’m wrong

it’s relative tho because someone who is loaded may say the same thing and go spend 6 hours on Insta for nothing. also $10 a day in Moxie could be $100 in 6 months (also the inverse). I see your point but I can’t think of any major social platform that has been sparked with a BoP (bottom of pyramid) approach, can you?

but it doesn’t matter if we’re the only ones the statement is that Americans and Brits aren’t incentivized to work in web3 bounties and tips aren’t enough to go all in westerners will casually work for tips if they think it can 100x sure, but once that rally is gone so are the westerners but those from poorer economic countries (sorry, it’s for lack of a better term) will continue to work for the $10-$30 a day tips/bounties

could go into an interesting line of convo here cuz as I was pondering this … I realized maybe you are right at $10-30, but what if it goes to $40 - 60 … then you would be competing with the gig economy (net) and that would be interesting … would you rather hang out on here all day or deliver food? 🤔
