I do like the fact the that Daily Emissions will be cut by 80%. I think this is definitely gonna take us where we want to get to.

I think I’d have preferred no tips,y allowance is like 300/day. But it’s a hard thing to balance. If you have tipping, it needs to be substantial or people won’t both. But tipping is monthly sell pressure.

I think we will need to shift gears from tipping Jacek made an interesting point about Raindrops yesterday, I need to dig it up off the space - basically, 10X the price - Allowances are then worth double what they were worth last Season in dollar terms - some kind of new innovation πŸ’₯ $1 a coin 🀣🀣😎

Maybe I'm missing something but this looks like an abstracted, easier way to farm.

ya they aren’t well branded yet. You pay 5000 Degen and it is like advertising. Jacek’s account auto recasts, and each one you like gets the degen. It is not farmable per se because the users pay, it is not from the treasury

Right, but lets say you're in a t4t ring. You put 5000 degen up, then by way of like, get to decide who it's dropped to. You tell your t4t group to tip it. 10 friends tip 500 each, you dish out 5000, and then the next person does it. Unless the t4t rules apply to this thing, and the reciprocity would be flagged on Round 2, 3, 4 etc. In which case, you should probably not do any raindrops with your friends of frequent interactions, and just farm random other people raindrops. (I know i'm being pigheaded on this, but farmers are like water, they will just flow around. And I have yet to see an airdrop successfully eliminate all farmers and satisfy all users)

you have to pay upfront tho, you can’t tip it. so you load the liquid amount in and then whoever gets it can claim. but more and more people are using it, so if somehow it was tied to an auction system and remodelled it could be interesting, cuz ya I get your point in principle. farmers can just cycle it around (but to what benefit idk!)

Yeah, I hear ya. In my example the 5000 upfront is just that, but comes out in the wash for a farmer. This assumes though, that according to the website, only likes of the OP get the raindrop, so you're selectively picking dispersing (likely those that tipped you the offsetting amount.) So OP is even, tippers are up 1/10th with presumably no T4T risk because it happened via raindrop.

do that ten times, and each member of the farm is up 9/10ths of their full allowance, with each only having to suffer a time delay on claiming their original 5000 back, via tips rec'd.

Haha and I’m not even good at crypto! In conclusion: trying to stop farmers is hard and likely will alienate a bunch of good users and a lot of meh users. From now on I’ll try and be more constructive, though. Being a negative Nancy doesn’t suit me, and I should know better.
