Bumble stock used to be worth $20 Billion, now it it worth less than $0.5 Billion and on the road to collapse. 

Good riddance, dating apps suck.  They call it 'app fatigue' but I think they are just another set of apps with a manipulative algorithm, and people have woken up to the game.

RIP early dating apps (Circa 2010) were “fun” but I haven’t been in the game sense.

they are like TikTok now basically imo, just a manipulative algorithm messing with people's heads.

Oh I just meant around that time period.  Didn’t mean to capitalize it.  Think I used OkCupid and a few other random ones for a few months.  Met my wife soon after and have been free of the game since.  Hear from my buddies it’s rough out there now.

I know what you mean for sure about the time period, that was such a great era for all different types of apps, it felt like freedom being on them.  

From dating to everything else, would love to see that era come back

absolutely, I think I got on FB in 2006 and it was epic until about 2009 like you said, and then it became a circus.  

that's where the opportunity is tho, enough people in one generation miss those days, and another has never even experienced them

Seriously, before everyone was jaded.  Facebook in 2006-2008 when it required a .edu email (colleges only) was actually amazing for meeting new people and keeping up with friends.  Miss those days, don’t think it’ll come back but that’s pretty much what we have here now.
