but I think for anything payments people will call it “crypto” over “onchain” no?

Correct - for most real people I just say crypto record label.

When they ask what that is - I tell them we sell songs in crypto.

They don't fully get it, but they get the gist of it.

The real kicker will be when selling songs in crypto gives them a distinct market price that is only enabled because the market is onchain.
