ah the return to first party tools with open apis. love this for you

Nothing crazy. Just seeing which third party apps I can drop and go more into the Apple ecosystem. Which is ironically contradicting the point of the original cast but it's part of a larger effort to find balance between DIY and trusting big tech.

It's a bit nuanced but my current approach is using more first part Apple software that doesn't rely on subscriptions, namely Reminders, Calendars, Mail, etc.
