So this past weekend my 10 year old entered a chili cookoff From sourcing the recipe, to prep, and cooking he wanted to do it all solo (was strongly against me helping at all) Now this wasn’t a kids event, it was all adults with some busting out their own custom t-shirts and previous trophies Here he is super nervous before it started rocking his cowboy hat acquired from his birthday trip to Texas (not sure why he loves Texas but this is all he wanted for his golden birthday) As the sun went down and votes came in this guy ended up with the win! Him and his 6 year old brother typically butt heads but for the entire minute following his announced win they both buried their heads in my chest and cried Proud Dad moment 🥹
