Pretty wild but at this point I'd argue that E is actually one of the simplest numbers to derive imaginable! (using this process)

-Start at first branch (1/1)
-You have two choices; Right or Left. My idea was to convert "Right" to 1, and "Left" to -1.
-Choose the direction at each juncture that gets you the best approximation of e
