Despite KC being talented, lucky, and my dislike for Mahomes as a leader… the actual odds of KC continuing (and taking it all) is far less likely than we and the bookies are suggesting. We/they/no one wants to bet against them in the event they make history… but to prevail, they *have to* make history.

agreed. It feels like the chiefs year is either set up for a narrative of a fairytale, where everything worked out or all the close calls are going to catch them in the end.
