They want us stupid. They want us to believe that a banana with tape has cultural impact.. pure circus. These are the kinds of things that make society turn against art, avoid museums, think everything is trash, and lose interest in exhibitions or anything like that. Thank you once again people of the mainstream art for using the name of art for your banana antics.

Yes, but is not a new circus, at the end I think also happened when Duchamp's toilet, even Banksy's actions could be polemical even if you don't consider contemporary art performance. 25 $DEGEN

Yes, that's true, but at least Banksy boosted stencil art. It got to the point where people were doing stencils everywhere. I don’t think this will inspire people to become passionate about anything, quite the opposite.

Of course , in fact it seems money laundering. Yes,well I find Banksy really inspiring, he built a brilliant narrative thru their actions and avatars tho, but I think he is a sold out , lol
