I've some ongoing wips, I wish to dedicate more time to my art but unfortunately my job drains my time.

Yes I understand your situation, because I was full time artist in previous cycles of my life. 

It's quite complicated balance because dedicating full-time to your art is risky but a job destroys sense which I personally live in a tragic way.

There is no such clear way imho

The important thing is that you have a job that gives you security in addition to art, this is my only source of income and that is very very very stressful :/ It's hard to maintain the love for our art with so much capital pressure.
