AI agents can bring real value to communities—automating repetitive tasks, curating content, offering 24/7 support, even surfacing insights that would otherwise go unnoticed. But if we’re just tossing them into communities without a clear purpose or strategy, then yeah—it becomes more of a shiny toy than a necessity. It’s not about having an AI agent; it’s about how it’s used.
