@maonad_xyz #MONAD The following would be valuable (Eigen-level outcome): - a protocol allowing solo stakers to run full nodes while delegating their actual stake to larger validators, - with the ability for the network to switch from its existing consensus set and (faster) block times to a fallback stake distribution, consensus mechanism, and slower block times, which would include the solo stakers directly. - this switch would only occur in the event of continued sub-66% voting power (aka chain halt) This would - allow solo stakers to continue getting roughly the same economic outcome - allow solo stakers to continue to contribute to WW3-level network resilience - in the happy path, reduce the number of voting nodes and increase the bandwidth reqs to a level where modern BFT consensus can be used, enabling SSF and 1s block times
