Saadi Shirazi was born in Shiraz in the year 606 AH under the name of Abu Muhammad Mushruddin Mosleh bin Abdullah bin Musharraf. This great Iranian poet and writer died in 691 AH, and one of his famous works is the book Golestan in Prose and Masnavi Bostan.
