I just pushed a big update to how rewards work for /stokefire! 🔥 Before: Rewards came from 2% of volume on $fire. Then you would split these rewards based on your village score divided by the total score of all villages. This meant that as more villages did well and new people joined the game, your rewards could be diluted. Now: Rewards still come from 2% of volume. But the rewards are distributed to you as they come in based on your score divided by total score. So they will accumulate! And you can receive them when you redeem and reset your village. This will incentivize village owners to keep building and growing their village. With this new rewards migration, you'll need to at least "stoke fire" one more time and then you can redeem if you'd like (No more waiting 7 days). Let me know if you have questions or find any issues. 👍

Yeah, basically locked in a higher amount than if you were waiting. A bit unfortunate for some, but it be like that sometimes

I mean maybe. stoking fire as fast as possible isn't necessarily going to give you more score.

I meant prior to this change :P Waiting is almost always going to be better long term because people will burn less $fire to get to a similar spot
