The withered grass My favorite movie this year, I watched it twice in two consecutive days. The film tells the life of a small intellectual in Türkiye. When I looked at it, I thought, it looks so much like Chekhov! Whether it's the atmosphere of ice and snow, the arrogance and cowardice of young intellectuals, or the pigeon gray world of ubiquitous power. After reading it, director Ceylon really loves Russian literature.
