Mastercard is placing a monster bet on Bitcoin π¨ They just announced a Non-Custodial Bitcoin Debit Card Europeans will be able to spend BTC directly at 100M+ merchants worldwide Why does this matter? This move validates Bitcoin as an everyday currency, *NOT* just a store of value. The card gives users: - Freedom: Use BTC across Mastercard's network w/out intermediaries - Control: Keep crypto in self-hosted wallets. Eliminate custodial risks - Simplicity: Bypass exchanges. Spend directly from your wallet But there's a catch... The Fees: -β¬1.6 issuance fee -β¬1 monthly maintenance fee -0.95% per transaction Still... this move addresses a pain point for European crypto users, and is undoubtedly a step towards financial sovereignty. Europeans chime in, is this something you would use? Or are you stacking your BTC?

IMO itβs rather a signal than a real use case, but definitely a step in the right direction. 270 $DEGEN
