Thanks for tagging me Janicka :) @ted There's many reason you should not do both before and after 1. Coffee's acidity can erode tooth outer surface, which can lead to cavities and sensitivity. So, if you want just rinse with water to neutralize acids in coffee with water then wait before brushing , Give enamel time to re-harden after exposure to acid. 2. In the same way if it's with sugar or milk ; When sugar is consumed it interacts with the bacteria within the plaque to produce acid > then it's back to choice 1 Give enamel time to re-harden after exposure to acid. 3. Brushing before is altered your taste of coffee :P
