The most insane elk day we had, two bulls in 5 minutes on block management (private) ranch land. We were getting ready to gutless quarter them and have a long day of hauling out 3 miles when the rancher showed up in the field out of nowhere and offered to load them with his flatbed bailer.

note for everyone, this is very far from the norm. We would typically have to quarter each then haul it out on our backs, 240ish lbs of meat/bone total plus the heads, pelt (sometimes) and backstrap, then hike back in (mostly up) and keep doing it until its all out plus our gear.
