Sharing the results of a cat2 hurricane level wind storm that came through Missoula, Montana a couple weeks ago and shut my power off for 4 days. Our course lost over 150 trees in the storm, several that protected the greens and were impediments to poor drives.

Loss of trees may have a negative impact on the course layout, but safety and recovery efforts should be the top priority.

That sounds really tough. Being without power for 4 days must have been challenging. It’s unfortunate that so many trees were lost, especially those protecting the greens. Is everyone okay? I hope things recover soon.
