Opepen Edition

I started following @jack back in 2019 / 2020.

@visualizevalue.eth changed the way I thought about design and marketing and building.

His curriculum was genuinely life changing for me back then.

Following his journey as a designer was so inspiring.

Jack has a keen ability to take complex concepts and distill them into simple visuals.

Simple isn't the right word though - because they are actually quite complex.

Then he started building in web3.

There's so much to say of Jack's work in NFTs. From his 1/1s to Checks, there's no doubting his impact as a visual creator.

But as a marketer - one is particular captivating.

The public canvas that is @opepenedition.

Arguably the largest public canvas in web3, countless have created with this canvas, both as official submissions, and as derivatives (this one included).

It's so much more than just an NFT project.

It's an open invitation.

Regardless of skill level, Opepen is an accessible starting point. A minimalistic framework to build upon.

@jack didn't just master the art of User Generated Content.

He created a canvas in which everyone was invited to participate.

So, genpepen joins the many who have come before me, and certainly the many more who will follow.
