It turns out that only 20 years ago the main element to build a page was <table>. How lucky we are now to have block elements and CSS. Did anybody already work at that time? Do you remember how it was? Do you think it will be something completely different in 20 years?

This is still a thing in most email clients - I tried building an email template a year or so ago and it was a complete mess when viewed. Had to convert everything to tables cause that’s all they support
