Was exploring Tokyo with my mum in April, and we found this place called Bar Crimjon near Shibuya. It’s like stepping into this guy’s basement lounge in the 60’s. We were the only ones there, and he was serving us whiskey while we requested tracks for him to play on vinyl or cd.

We were listening to Peg by Steely Dan when I got this snap of him. Other requests included Vitamin C by Can, the full Abbey Road medley by the Beatles, Nick Cave, Jaco Pastorius, Miles Davis, Led Zep. Re-experiencing songs you’ve treasured for years in a fresh environment is fun as fuck. Highly recommend!
