Jam Points will be directly related to our tokenomics soon to be released. On Jam, you can earn Jam Points by either activating your profile key, or trading casts/keys.

Points are generated every 6 hours based on trading volume of the previous 6 hours. 

It will be distributed into point bubbles which are available to be claimed 6 hours after generated. 

Points bubbles can be claimed for 24 hours after they become available before it expires.

Additionally, some yard owners will have daily basic points claimable from others each day based on how many users they have invited, using their referral code. 

These basic points will be split accordingly every 6 hours following our "reset timing".

The generation of the points follow a standard "reset" time which is 0:00, 06:00, 12:00, 18:00 UTC.

Key: Every 0.00024 ETH in trading volume, 2 points are generated each for both trader and yard owner (creator). No upper limit on generated points.

Cast: Every 40 $DEGEN in trading volume, 2 points are generated each for both trader and yard owner. If volume exceeds 4000 $DEGEN, a maximum of 200 points is generated.

Casts can be bought in $ETH, but will be swapped to $DEGEN, so it will still calculated in $DEGEN.

Invite a new user using your referral code to level up for more basic points! 

Invitee (new user) must complete at least one txn, either through cast or keys. Invitee receives 100 points after onboarding with referral code!

A claiming opportunity valid for 24 hours is earned each time you purchase a cast with a value of >= 10.8 $DEGEN.

However, the yard owner you are claiming from must follow you, OR you must own their key.

Note that your points can only be claimed by others; you cannot claim your own points. Invite your friends to help you claim them!

If yard owner's key has been activated, the points are split equally, with both the claimer and the yard owner receiving half (50% each), until the point bubble is fully claimed. 

Each time you claim, the claimed points received are random.

If the yard owner has not activated their key, claimer can still claim a random number of points each time. In this case, 20% of the claimed points go to claimer, and 80% are temporarily locked.

To unlock the remaining 80%, the user needs to activate their key. The locked points are released to the corresponding claimants, and the yard owner does not receive these points. 

After key is activated, it will be according to the rules for activated keys (50% each).

Hence, it will be beneficial to activate your key at the soonest, to earn the most possible points!
