Imagine ChatGPT is only accessible via Membership in a hypothetical OpenAI community.

There are only 10 million Memberships. They can be bought / sold on the open market.

How much would people pay for a Membership?

10 million memberships is quite small. They’d probably initially sell for $500 or more. Then once the launch of an open market, the numbers may go off the roof. Maybe $5k or more

No I mean. They’ll probably do an initial sale / whitelist sale like that for an nft for a cheaper price. Then when it goes live on the open market , those that bought for the cheaper price sell it to other people for crazy prices. Do you understand now ?
