Just listened to the notes from the space today. Kind of skimmed it but seems like degen needs a data science team.

I agree to an extent. Development is not an up only case. There are lows as well. If the team is committed to the community, enough voices should signal change. Feedback and the power of social media will be crtical moving forward

It is what it is. Defined rules help alleviate confusion. There are many solutions that could of been considered “theft protection 😂” One I’m thinking off the top of my head is only ALLOWING what you can tip on mint platform. Says it’s 50% of your tips and that number doesn’t ever change. Once again without defining the rules, the room to exploit grows.

In light of warpcast events, something I’ve learned from programming recently is you have to write cases and define the parameters. If you don’t you cannot complain about being exploited. Degen never defined the mint club parameters. Some leveraged this, some did not. At the end of the day, you have to be specific with your development . I still respect the team .

Getting more into development, why do I feel like my code is 10% actual functions and 90% error handling!?

Imagine you generate a payload and you have to ask how to run the payload, or what type of access do you need to execute this payload 🤣🤣

The security community is upset that deepseek can generate malicious payloads. Honestly pretty frustrating when politics get involved. Realistically, if you generate malicious payloads you can generate mitigations(if you don’t know how to secure your network) A tool will only be as good as its user.

How’s everyone doing? I finished my test project I was working on. Decided not to publicly fork it due to copyright issues from the test bank. If you are studying for your sec+ reach out I can give you the test

Out of curiosity, if I edit the verbiage of the questions can I still get hit with copyright?

Had a friend for the government sector send me some study material for some industry certs in IT. I hate that this material cost hundreds of dollars so I’m taking the pdf version and building my own quizzes with the test bank in python. It will be my first public git contribution. Available hopefully by Sunday.
