Lost, but Actually Won 😭 😭 

Back in 2011, the prize for placing 5th–8th in a Starcraft tournament was 25 BTC. At the time, 25 BTC was worth just about $40.

📍 Fast forward to today, and those same 25 BTC are valued at approximately $2.5 million.

In 2021, a player who finished 6th in that tournament shared a brief comment:

"I’m pretty sure I didn’t take the Bitcoins back then. Maybe I asked for $40 instead or didn’t take anything at all. I don’t really remember—it was so long ago."
