it doesn't connect to wifi. it bricks constantly. the UX is horrendous.

first person i’ve heard say that. have you not had the wifi connectivity issues?

I should probably note I’m ironing iOS 18.3.

how did you get 18.3? i’m only seeing 18.2

i’m hoping so, although the whole wifi 7 thing seems like they designed something too advanced for most networks (?)

will be crossing my fingers that future upgrades help since i’m stuck with the phone 😆

Beta. I always sign up for the beta program. My theory is that they design the software for the hardware, so the software lags just a little. Once in awhile you run into some weird things with the beta software, but I've never lost anything. So long as it's not the developer beta it seems stable and tends to use the full functionality of a newer phone. My guess is any issues with the 16 are software based, which is why I'm not seeing them. But this is a total guess. Best not to take only my word for it.
