my Token2049 badge says “Ted”and security INSIDE has stopped me 3 times asking for my ID in order to confirm that i did not steal this badge from a man and that i am in fact “Ted” lol

That is ridiculous and hilarious. Maybe have a copy of your passport to just take out or cut it and post it to the back of your badge?
