On this day that year, I was starting at a new school my sophomore year on the north side of Chicago. Gosh who knew two years later “MEAN GIRLS” would come out and I would laugh because it felt like my high school experience.

That and all day I have been thinking of “oh hello” oddly enough too. 

Both days|crazy times.

It was.  We all were sent to our homerooms to watch the tv and folx kept asking me why I looked so sad and if I knew anyone there. 

I honestly still couldn't tell you but it's one of those things that we know brings us together even when it looks so dark. 

Guessing you were in NYC then and lucky your dad was where he was. Little things happen for a reason and we celebrate the lives as well as remember those who we loved and lost. 🫂

i was late to school which made my dad late for work so he sat on the train as the buildings burned to the ground. really sad day for my town, who lost a lot of dads and some moms
