We're seeing a spike in unread messages on status.warpcast.com The good news is that it doesn't seem to be impacting users. It appears that our hubs are sending our backend old messages that it's already seen for some unknown reason. If you are seeing this affect your apps or users, please let us know.

Maybe related, but about a day or two ago my pinata hub would periodically return a different number of total messages for a given user. Not sure if the problem has resolved itself or not.
